BluePearl Pet Hospital in Downtown Manhattan NYC is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor who can motivate, engage, and develop a team of veterinary professionals.

The ideal candidate will have advanced technical skills and a passion for training and mentoring, plus strong communication, time management and organizational abilities. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, coordinating training, and collaborating with hospital leadership to address patient and client needs.

• Work with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Patient Care staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
• Provide feedback leadership and work to develop performance improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Downtown Manhattan NYC is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician Supervisor with passion and ability to help motivate, engage, and develop a team of veterinary professionals.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be a leader in a dynamic team of veterinary professionals. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical skills and have strong passion for training and mentoring. This position requires someone with strong communication, time management and organizational skills. Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 / hour + competitive shift differentials

This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example:

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = +$4.50/hr. Shift Differential


• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = +$4.50/hr. Shift Differential


• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = +$8.00/hr. Shift Differential

As a Veterinary Technician Supervisor, you will...

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.


• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.


• Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.


• Organize training schedules for Patient Care staff.


• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.


• Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.


• Other related duties as assigned.
