VCA Morris Plains Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join our leadership team. This is a working supervisory role with duties ranging from policy implementation to staff coaching.

The ideal candidate will have strong people skills, the ability to lead a team, and a commitment to high-quality patient care in a collaborative hospital environment.

Seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor

Hourly Range - $22.00/hour-$28.00/hour

VCA Morris Plains Animal Hospital is seeking a highly experienced Veterinary Technician, Credentialed a plus but not required, to join our leadership team as Technician/Assistant Supervisor.

The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

This is a working supervisory position which is responsible for the leadership and of the Veterinary Technician/Assistant Staff. In addition to all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Implementing department policies and procedures.
• Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings.
• Enforcing and education on charge captures.
• Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs.
• Record keeping.
• Marketing.
• Facility maintenance.
• Coaching team Members.
• Working closely with Leadership to brainstorm solutions and progress.
• Marinating a positive, solution oriented, can do attitude.
