VCA Sugar Grove Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join our leadership team. This full-time position includes 4 x 10 hour shifts with rotating Saturdays, reporting to the Medical Director and Hospital Manager.

VCA Sugar Grove Animal Hospital is looking to add a Veterinary Technician to our leadership team as a Technician Supervisor.

Schedule

Full-time opportunity, 4 x 10 hour shifts with rotating Saturdays.

Compensation

Pay range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.

Duties (in addition to Veterinary Technician responsibilities)

• Implementing department policies and procedures.
• Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings.
• Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs.
• Interviewing, training and mentoring new and existing staff.
• Delivering employee performance feedback.
• Monitoring day-to-day activities and engaging with support staff.

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or eligible to transfer state license (LVT, CVT, LVMT).
