Job summary

VCA Bloomington Animal Hospital is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our full-service AAHA-accredited practice in Bloomington, MN. You will work closely with veterinarians to support surgeries and patient care, while guiding clients through care plans with empathy and clarity.

The role emphasizes anesthesia monitoring, dental cleanings, radiographs, and in-house diagnostics, with opportunities for professional growth and access to ongoing CE and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Certified Veterinary Technician with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Eligibility to transfer state license (LVT, RVT, LVMT) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery.
• Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments.
• Collect samples and run in-house diagnostics.
• Place catheters and support patient treatments.
• Educate clients on care plans, medications, and follow-up.

Compensation: Pay range is $26- 29 /hr and is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials.

Schedule: Full-time opportunity. 4 x 10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays.

The Role

As a Credentialed Veterinary Technician , you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care. You'll work closely with our veterinarians to support a variety of medical procedures while helping guide clients through their pet's care with confidence and compassion.

What You’ll Do
