As an Anesthesia Veterinary Technician, you will:

1. Assist in patient procedures using knowledge of anesthesia and analgesia protocols, including formulating anesthetic plans tailored to individual needs.
2. Monitor anesthesia, troubleshoot complications, and make appropriate interventions.
3. Perform intravenous catheter placement, endotracheal intubation, and maintain anesthetic equipment.
4. Perform physical exams and monitor vital parameters, alerting the doctor to abnormalities.
5. Set up intravenous fluids and CRIs.
6. Expand your knowledge with advanced skills such as epidurals and difficult airway management.
7. Operate and troubleshoot various intravenous fluid pumps.
8. Manage patient procedures comprehensively from pre-op to recovery.
9. Manage appointments, record keeping, invoicing, and patient discharges.
10. Manage intravenous fluids aseptically and monitor patient response to therapies.
