PetVet Care Centers’ Healthy Paws Veterinary Center in Little Elm, Texas seeks a Veterinary Technician to support hospital operations with high-quality patient care and exceptional client service. Responsibilities include patient exams, nursing care, pharmacy tasks, and maintaining records, with a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older to be considered.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years veterinary technician experience, including restraint, vitals, venipuncture, history taking, vaccinations, and discussing estimates with clients.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by examinations and interviews, review care plans and records, run labs and imaging.
• Care for patients by taking vitals, administering meds, vaccines, and bandaging wounds.
• Support examinations by preparing supplies and restraining patients as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain medical records and communicate with pet owners about patient status.
• Ensure safe and clean environments, sterilize instruments, and manage inventory.
