Job summary

Eastham Veterinary Hospital, part of PetVet Care Centers, is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team in Eastham, MA. This role supports hospital operations, performs patient care, exams, and diagnostic procedures, and assists with surgeries and nursing tasks.

The position offers a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 based on experience, a Monday–Friday schedule with 8:30am–5pm hours, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Experience in surgery/anesthesia.
• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements and assess care plans.
• Assist during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
• Provide nursing care and monitor patients.
• Maintain medical records and update owner communications.
• Ensure safe and clean hospital environment.
• Assist with dispensing medications and handling controlled drugs.
• Maintain inventory and equipment; participate in staff education.
