Healthy Paws Veterinary Center in Little Elm, Texas is hiring a Veterinary Technician to join a compassionate team. You will provide patient care, assist with examinations and surgeries, and maintain medical records while delivering exceptional client service.

The role emphasizes a culture of care, collaboration, and continuous learning across Wellness exams, diagnostics, dermatology, surgery, dental care, and grooming services.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years veterinary technician experience with patient restraint and vital signs.
• Experience discussing preventative care, estimates, and payment options with pet parents.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements through exams, records review, tests, and imaging.
• Care for patients:Vital signs, samples, medications, vaccines, and wound care.
• Assist examinations and surgeries: gather supplies, position patients, restrain as needed.
• Maintain medical records and communicate with owners about patient status.
• Sterilize instruments, sanitize areas, and manage inventory and supplies.
