Job summary

C CanyonVet Canyon Lake is seeking a relief veterinary technician to support a busy Canyon Lake, TX practice. The role includes assisting veterinarians, preparing patients for surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, lab tests, and client education.

You will contribute to accurate medical records, postoperative care, and maintaining clean surgical areas while collaborating with a compassionate team across departments.

Qualifications

• Must have veterinary technician experience.
• Surgical and anesthesia experience strongly preferred.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail; ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, positive attitude toward patients and clients.

Responsibilities

About You

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life‑changing work will range from the hands‑on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including intake and discharging patients.
