Veterinary Technician

CanyonVet Canyon Lake

Canyon Lake, TX

Full-time: 4 day, 10 hour shift 7:30am-6pm

About You

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands‑on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including intake and discharging patients. The success of your patients’ care matters to you, and your success matters to us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures
  • Prepare and monitor patients for surgery, including anesthesia monitoring
  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab sample collection
  • Run in‑house diagnostics and maintain accurate medical records
  • Provide nursing care, including patient monitoring and treatments
  • Educate clients on medications, post‑op care, and preventative health
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment and surgical areas
  • Support team members across all departments as needed
