Job summary

CanyonVet Canyon Lake in Canyon Lake, Texas is seeking a Veterinary Technician - Relief to support a busy general practice. You will assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures, help prepare for surgery, monitor anesthesia, perform venipuncture, collect lab samples, and maintain medical records.

You will educate clients on medications and post-operative care, while maintaining a clean, organized work area and supporting colleagues across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary technician experience required.
• Surgical and anesthesia experience strongly preferred.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail; ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life‑changing work will range from the hands‑on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including intake and discharging patients.
