Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiology Veterinary Technician to join our diagnostic imaging team in Florida. The shift runs Tuesday through Friday, 8am-6pm, with a pay range of $20.00–$40.00 per hour based on experience and progression through our competency levels.

The role requires performing advanced imaging such as CT and MRI, preparing patients for procedures, restraining patients safely, and assisting with phlebotomy and cytology preparation.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician status in the U.S. (implied by practice)
• Experience with diagnostic imaging preferred
• Ability to follow competency leveling system

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for ultrasound.
• Safely restrain patients for procedures.
• Place intravenous catheters in peripheral veins.
• Perform phlebotomy.
• Prepare slides for cytology.
• Proficiently perform digital radiographs.
• Monitor patients during anesthesia or sedation.
• Perform advanced imaging such as CT/MRI.
• Mentor and train co-workers.
• Address client concerns with empathy.

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an exceptional Radiology Veterinary Technician .

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 8am-6pm

As a Radiology Technician you will perform advance diagnostic testing, such as x-rays, computed tomography (CT), nuclear imaging , digital fluoroscopy, and magnetic resonance imag ing (MRI).

As a Radiology Technician , you will:

• You prepare patients for ultrasound.
• Your safely restrain patients for procedures.
• You place intravenous catheters in all peripheral veins.
• You perform phlebotomy.
• You prepare slides for cytology.
• You proficiently perform digital radiographs.
• You monitor patients during anesthesia or while sedated.
• You will perform advanced imaging such as CT scans and MRI procedures.
• You have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
• You have patience and empathy to address client concerns.
