BluePearl Pet Hospital in Northfield is looking for an experienced Overnight Veterinary Technician to join our team!

* We are offering a SIGN-ON BONUS for qualified technicians!

Position: Veterinary Technician with our Critical Care department.

Work Schedule: Full Time; Overnights, rotating weeks, weekend availability, and flexibility to work rotating holidays are required.

Pay Range APCA I/VTIII: $23.20 - $43.70/hour

*This pay band depends on local veterinary licensing, experience, and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

Competitive Shift Differentials: Earn more with our shift differentials!

• Weekday Night (Mon-Fri 6p to 8a): $4.00
• Weekend Day (Sat-Sun 8a to 6p): $4.00
• Weekend Night (Sat-Sun 6p to 8a): $5.50

As an ICU/Critical Care Technician, you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines, or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants to provide excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Mentor and train other team members
• Experience the gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reuniting them with their pet parents
