Job Overview

Pet + E.R in Hunt Valley, MD is hiring a full‑time experienced Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding team on an overnight shift caring for our surgical patients.

Compensation & Schedule

We offer a generous sign‑on bonus for Credentialed Veterinary Technicians (credentials preferred but not required) to work on our overnight team, as well as a 10% shift differential for overnight shifts!

Compensation: Based on experience, skill set, and credentials. $28‑30/hr

Schedule:

• 4/10‑hour shifts per week
• Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday
• 7pm – 5am (subject to possible change)
• 10% shift differential
• No weekends!
• Training will be done during the day shift for 4‑6 weeks

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internists to provide excellent patient & client care.
• Embrace a team environment.
• Safe, low‑stress patient handling.
• Obtain blood samples & run lab work.
• Perform radiographs.
• Administer medications & treatments to patients.
• Assist with appointments.
• Provide client education.
• Assist with anesthetic and endoscopy procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for staff members and clients.
• Punctuality, professionalism, trustworthiness.
