Dogs and Cats Emergency & Specialty in Bowie, MD is hiring a full‑time Surgery Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding team!

Compensation: Based on experience and skill set. $23-29/hr. Included is a generous sign‑on bonus for qualified Registered Veterinary Technicians.

Schedule

• 10‑hour shifts
• On call during the weekdays until midnight
• Holidays
• Flexibility to work weekends and swing shifts in ER when surgeons are on PTO

• Strong client communication skills to obtain histories and review post‑operative concerns.
• Skilled in obtaining and analyzing laboratory samples (blood, urine, and stool).
• Experience in catheter placement.
• Strong time‑management, initiative, and task prioritization skills.
