VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our overnight Emergency Team in Loomis, CA. A $1500 signing bonus is offered. Compensation ranges from $25 to $35 per hour for full-time overnight work with a shift differential.

We value a credentialed technician or experienced veterinary assistant with emergency practice exposure. This 24/7 hospital emphasizes learning, collaboration, and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Full-time experienced Veterinary Assistant or Credentialed Veterinary Technician.
• Overnight shift with 4/10s schedule and shift differential.
• Emergency care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with front desk to inform clients of pet status.
• Work with ICU team and emergency veterinarians on cases.
• Communicate with clients and team in a proactive, respectful manner.

Due to limited support on overnight shiftsand the types of cases that presentlate at night, it is essential that associatestake initiative on patient treatments, ask for helpwhen unsure, andcommunicate with clients and team membersin a healthy and considerate manner.
