VCA Colonial Animal Hospital in Ithaca, NY is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our weekend overnight team on a full-time basis. This hybrid hospital offers 24/7/365 care with a strong leadership team and opportunities for growth.

We provide outstanding client care, collaborative culture, and dedicated training programs, including a VTS in Anesthesia/Analgesia and Emergency/Critical Care. Competitive compensation and a $5,000 sign-on bonus are available.

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with weekend overnight availability.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess critically ill patients.
• Perform physical exams and patient assessments.
• Venipuncture, catheter placement, and monitoring.
• Invasive monitoring and anesthesia monitoring.
• CT/hands-free radiology and CRI/blood administration.
• Laboratory work and pharmacy tasks.
• Advanced nursing skills as experience allows.

***This role has a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Bonus paid at 30 days and has amandatory 12-month retention period***

VCA Colonial Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (nurse) to join our weekend overnight team full time.

We are agrowing hybridhospital and proud to be one of the premier providers of primary, specialty and emergency care located in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes region in Upstate New York. Our hospital operates 24/7/365 serving clients with dedication and compassion.

Duties Include:

• Triage and assessment of the critical ill patient
• Physical examinations and patient assessment
• Venipuncture and Catheter placement
• Invasive monitoring, Anesthesia monitoring
• CT/Hands free Radiology
• CRI's, blood transfusions, IV and oral medication administration
• Laboratory work
• Pharmacy
• Advanced nursing skills- nasogastric tubes, central lines, nasal cannulas, urinary catheters (as experience allows)

Compensation:

$26 - $32 / hour, dependent on experience and skill set. plus $2 overnight differential

Schedule:

Swing, Overnights, Weekends.
