Job summary

VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital is seeking overnight Veterinary Technicians to join our Emergency teams. You will work 7pm–7am, with weekend shifts available, in a fast-paced hospital offering general, specialty, and emergency care.

compensation ranges from $20.00 to $38.00 per hour based on experience, licensure, and skill level. We pride ourselves on teamwork, continuous learning, and a strong culture of development.

Qualifications

• Anesthesia monitoring is required.
• Full technician skill utilization in a fast-paced environment.
• Collect patient histories and perform physical exams.
• Proficient venipuncture and IVC placement.
• Hands-free radiology and safety practices.
• Collaborate with all hospital services.
• Provide compassionate care to all patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitors anesthesia during procedures.
• Utilizes full technician capabilities to support care.
• Collects patient histories and performs physical exams.
• Performs venipuncture and IVC placement as needed.
• Ensures safety during radiology procedures.
• Works with team across services to deliver care.
• Provides compassionate care for all patients.

VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital is growing! In order to better service the people and pets in our community we are adding overnight Veterinary Technicians to our Emergency teams. We are seeking the right person to join our one of a kind, fast paced, general, specialty and emergency practice. Potential Schedule

Full time, overnights 7pm - 7am. Weekend shifts are first available.

Compensation

$20.00 - $38.00 / hr based on experience, skill set, and licensure status.
