Role
Full‑time Veterinary Technician in the Thrive Pet Healthcare network. Provide end‑to‑end care for patients, including outpatient treatments, laboratory tests, admits and discharges.
Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians and assist the medical team to ensure quality care, advocate for pets and educate clients.
- Assist with surgeries and procedures in line with your state Veterinary Practice Act for credentialed technicians.
- Manage patient flow, maintain medical records and charts, and monitor anesthesia and equipment.
- Use safe restraining techniques, follow protocols, and keep exam rooms and labs clean and sterile.
- Communicate with clients about health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Memberships, medications and additional treatments.
- Mentor and support fellow team members.
Experience & Skills Requirements
- Previous veterinary technician/assistant experience required.
- Registered Veterinary Technician preferred.
- Proficient in IV catheter placement, blood work, IV/IM/SQ injections.
- Proficient in monitoring anesthesia and working with monitoring equipment.
- Team player, self‑motivated, enjoys fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to multi‑task.

Compensation
Hourly pay rate starting at $22–$34 per hour, negotiable based on credentials and experience.
