Eye Care for Animals Far West (ECFA) is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community. ECFA supports your development with tools, resources, and a national network while maintaining a local community feel.

About You

As a Vet Tech, you will play an important role in pets’ lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey, from hands-on outpatient treatments and laboratory tests to surgery assistance and helping with admitting and discharging patients.

Job Overview

The Veterinary Technician is responsible for a variety of tasks related to customer service and patient care within the veterinary practice. Responsibilities include animal handling, pre- and post-operative patient care, creating and presenting financial options and estimates, accurately entering service charges into the client database, extensive client interaction, and preparing medications.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary technician/assistant experience required
• Licensed Technician preferred, but not required
• Proficient in IV catheter placement, blood work, and IV, IM, and SQ injections
• Proficient in monitoring anesthesia and using various monitoring equipment
• Team player
• Eager to learn and self-motivated

Compensation
