Veterinary Technician - Eye Care for Animals Salt Lake City!

Eye Care for Animals is seeking a Part-time Veterinary Technician to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. Practice hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. The position requires three days a week with no weekend hours.

Our ideal candidate: enjoys working hard and strives for excellent customer service. Other qualifications include:

• Previous veterinary technician experience required.
• Proficient in IV catheter placement, blood work, and administering IV, IM, and SQ injections.
• Skilled in monitoring anesthesia and working with monitoring equipment.
• Team player with a desire to learn and self-motivation.
• Enjoys a challenging, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task with a positive attitude.

Job Overview: The Veterinary Technician handles various tasks related to customer service and patient care, including animal handling, pre- and post-operative care, creating and presenting financial estimates, accurately entering charges into our database, extensive client interaction, and preparing medications. Hours may vary and include after-hours and on-call responsibilities. Compensation is based on experience and skills.
