Eye Care for Animals - Houston, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our ophthalmology-focused team in Houston, TX. You will provide comprehensive care, assist with surgeries, monitoring, and client communication in a fast-paced hospital.

The ideal candidate has veterinary technician experience, is licensed or eligible, and excels in a collaborative environment with strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience as veterinary technician/assistant required.
• Licensed Technician preferred, but not required.
• Proficient in IV catheter placement, blood work, and IV/IM/SQ injections.
• Proficient in monitoring anesthesia and related equipment.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to surgery assistance, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.
