Job summary

Sploot is seeking a Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Colorado for urgent care and general practice. No overnights and flexible shifts help maintain work-life balance while supporting a busy team with advanced tools including AI scribe software.

You will assist veterinarians with surgeries, anesthesia monitoring, blood draws, radiographs, and client education, while maintaining digital records and contributing to a collaborative clinic culture with mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• RVT with current Colorado license is required.
• At least 1 year of veterinary technician experience; emergency/urgent care a plus.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and willingness to help across the clinic.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, treatments, and diagnostics.
• Perform blood draws, lab work, IV catheter placement, radiographs, vaccines and wound care.
• Educate clients and guide care plans and at-home instructions.
• Maintain digital records with AI scribe support and keep equipment clean.
• Support a positive, solution-focused team environment and mentor junior staff.

What You'll Do

• Clinical Partnership: Support veterinarians with surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, treatments, and diagnostics
• Technical & Lab Skills: Perform blood draws, lab work, IV catheter placement, radiographs, medication and vaccine administration, and wound care assistance
• Client Education & Support: Guide and reassure pet parents by clearly communicating care plans and at-home instructions
• Clinic Operations: Maintain accurate digital records (with AI scribe support), restock supplies, and keep equipment clean and sterilized
• Culture & Mentorship: Contribute to a positive, solutions-focused team environment and support the growth of veterinary assistants
