Job summary

Sploot Veterinary Care in Colorado is seeking an enthusiastic veterinary assistant for urgent care and general practice, with no overnights and flexible 10–12 hour shifts. You'll work with doctors and technicians, providing compassionate client support, assisting procedures, and helping maintain a clean, organized clinic.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary assistant experience; emergency or urgent care is a plus but not required.
• Team-first mindset — collaborative and ready to jump in where needed.
• Passionate about delivering best-in-class care to pets and their people.
• Organized and detail-oriented to keep the clinic running smoothly.
• Bonus points: interest or experience in dentistry or anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Client Support: Create a calm, reassuring experience so pet parents feel confident in their pets' care.
• Procedural Support: Assist doctors and technicians with treatments and procedures, including safe and gentle patient restraint.
• Clinic Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment for pets, clients, and the whole team.
