Veterinary Technician - Neurology

About the Role: Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our INCREDIBLE Neurology team! We offer the support, tools, and resources to elevate your skills in a hospital that values community and professional growth.

About You

You will play an essential role in pets' lives by providing comprehensive care, including outpatient treatments, laboratory tests, surgery assistance, and support services such as admitting and discharging patients.

Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a neurology veterinary technician
  • CVT/LVT/RVT preferred
  • Availability for on-call rotation
  • Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technical skills including anesthesia, surgical assisting, diagnostic imaging (MRI/CT/Radiology)
  • Excellent problem-solving, ethical, detail-oriented, and observational skills
  • Experience with anesthetic patient monitoring and neurologic disease management
  • Ability to collect and perform laboratory tests and utilize digital radiography and advanced diagnostic equipment
Role Responsibilities
  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality care and educate clients
  • Assist in surgeries and procedures, maintaining medical records
  • Communicate with clients regarding pet health concerns and Thrive Membership options
  • Maintain clean, sterile treatment areas and support team mentorship
