Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency as a Veterinary Technician within their department.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood and delivered.
• Act as a subject-matter expert for daily operations, patient care, and skill development.
• Mentor staff by modeling positive work habits and clinical/business skills.
• Identify workplace conflicts and assist in resolution to maintain teamwork.
• Coach staff to sustain high performance and productivity.
• Communicate changes in ideas, protocols, and policies clearly to the team.
• Build positive relationships across hospital and administration for teamwork.
• Lead process improvements and partner on training schedules.
• Document performance issues and advise leadership on performance management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
