Qualifications

• Must be an experienced Veterinary Technician with advanced clinical skills.
• Proven ability to train and mentor staff in a fast-paced hospital.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency as a Veterinary Technician or Advanced Patient Care Associate.
• Create effective working relationships with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert and resource to Technicians and Assistants.
• Mentor staff to foster high performance and productivity.
• Coach staff on new protocols and changes to policies and procedures.
• Build positive relationships across hospital and administration to promote teamwork.
• Implement process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate ongoing training with the Technician Training Manager.
• Document performance issues and provide leadership with recommendations.
