Responsabilités

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency as a Veterinary Technician within the department.
• Create effective working relationships with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood, effectively communicated, and delivered upon.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert and resource to Technicians and Assistants regarding daily operations, patient care, and skill development.
• Mentor staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek resolution to create effective working relationships.
• Coach staff to create a culture of strong performance and high productivity.
• Clearly communicate with team members to ensure understanding of new ideas, changes in protocol, policies, and changes.
• Build positive relationships across the hospital and administration to facilitate teamwork.
• Implement process improvement initiatives.
• Work with the Technician Training Manager to schedule ongoing training.
• Document performance-related issues, assess team members during annual review, and provide leadership with recommendations on performance management and discipline.
• Other duties as assigned
