Position Details

• Role: Veterinary Technician
• Status: Full-Time
• Salary: $30 - $35/hour, depending on experience
• Schedule: Full-time schedule with rotating Saturday shifts required

Responsibilities

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
• Emergency and surgical care, including IV catheter placement and intubation
• Obtaining diagnostics—radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection—and performing in-house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a veterinary hospital required
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credentials strongly preferred
• Strong technical and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and client service abilities
