Job summary

Kelley Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician in the northern suburbs of Minnesota, between Shoreview and Blaine. The role requires current LVT credentials or enrollment in a technician program, with duties spanning exam assistance, patient nursing care, and surgical support.

What You'll Do



  • Check in patients and help manage appointments

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures

  • Provide compassionate, attentive nursing care to patients

  • Assist with surgical procedures and monitor patients under anesthesia

  • Support dental procedures and patient recovery

  • Safely handle and restrain patients

  • Fill prescriptions accurately as directed by the veterinary team

  • Maintain accurate patient information and medical documentation

  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients

  • Assist with reception and front-desk responsibilities as needed

  • Prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced veterinary environment

  • Collaborate with doctors and teammates to provide exceptional patient and client care
