Job summary

Meadows Cat Hospital in Issaquah, WA is seeking a licensed veterinary technician for our feline-only practice. This full-time position follows four 10-hour shifts per week with one Saturday per month, offering strong benefits and a supportive team.

You will support veterinarians, monitor anesthesia, assist with dental procedures, and perform in-house diagnostics while maintaining patient records and client communication.

Qualifications

  • Current Licensed Veterinary Technician credential required.
  • Strong technical and patient care abilities.
  • Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dental procedures.
  • Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and effectively handle and restrain feline patients.
  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Monitor anesthesia and support dental prophylaxis procedures.
  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection.
  • Obtain diagnostic images, including radiographs.
  • Perform in-house laboratory testing and diagnostics.
  • Assist with emergency and surgical patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and client communication documentation.
  • Educate clients on preventative care, treatments, and patient needs.
  • Collaborate with teammates to provide exceptional patient care.

Role: Licensed Veterinary Technician


Status: Full-time


Salary: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour


Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week with one Saturday per month

What You'll Do
