Job summary

Meadows Cat Hospital is a feline-only veterinary practice in Issaquah seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate teamin a full-time capacity. You will support veterinarians during exams, procedures, and anesthesia, perform venipuncture and in-house diagnostics, and help educate clients on preventive care.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Veterinary Technician credential required.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dental procedures.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccine protocols.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively handle and restrain feline patients.
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and support dental prophylaxis procedures.
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection.
• Obtain diagnostic images, including radiographs.
• Perform in-house laboratory testing and diagnostics.
• Assist with emergency and surgical patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client communication documentation.
• Educate clients on preventative care, treatments, and patient needs.
• Collaborate with teammates to provide exceptional patient care.
