East Lansing Veterinary Clinic is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) for a full-time position. The successful candidate will monitor anesthesia, assist with surgery, and deliver high-quality nursing care to both companion animals and exotics while collaborating with a dedicated team.

Qualifications

Current Michigan LVT credential
1–2 years clinical veterinary experience preferred
Ability to work with companion animals and exotics
Strong technical and client service skills

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as directed
Perform diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests
Assist with examinations, surgeries, anesthesia, and postoperative care
Provide nursing care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and exotic pets
Educate clients on treatment plans and preventative care
Maintain complete and accurate patient records
Collaborate with doctors and teammates for patient care
Support daily hospital operations and keep a clean workspace

What You’ll Do

Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
Perform diagnostic imaging and laboratory testing

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

Current Michigan Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential
One to two years of clinical veterinary experience preferred
Confidence handling dogs, cats, and a variety of species; exotic animal experience is a plus
Strong technical, communication, and client service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
