Job summary

Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital in Portsmouth, NH is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician Learning and Development Specialist (TLDS) to join Ethos Discovery. This onsite, full-time role blends clinical research, technician education, and hands-on patient care to advance veterinary medicine.

Qualifications

• Certified, licensed, or registered veterinary technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) is required.
• VTS certification is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of veterinary technician experience is preferred.
• Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate clinical education, in-services, and hands-on training.
• Partner with Clinical Supervisors to identify learning needs and support development plans.
• Assist with development, implementation, and sign-off of technician protocols.
• Strengthen clinical skills, critical thinking, and confidence across technician levels.
• Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and leadership to advance clinical practice and Ethos Discovery studies.

Education

CVT/LVT/RVT certification

VTS certification (preferred)

5 years veterinary technician experience (preferred)

Fluent English
