Job summary

Nippers Corner Pet Medical Center in Nashville welcomes a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. You will provide comprehensive patient care, monitor anesthesia, and perform lab work, while mentoring colleagues to maintain workflow efficiency.

We value strong communication with clients, collaboration with three DVMs and our Practice Manager, and a commitment to clinical excellence as part of Mission Pet Health’s network.

Qualifications

Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
Calm and efficient under fast-paced or stressful situations.
Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit.
One year of veterinary industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care and administer treatments.
Monitor anesthesia and perform lab work as part of the medical team.
Mentor and support teammates to maintain efficient workflow.
Educate clients on treatments and review medical records.
