Job summary

Richland Animal Clinic in Nashville seeks a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our five-doctor team. You will provide comprehensive patient care, assist in anesthesia, and perform lab work while upholding high clinical standards.

You’ll mentor teammates, educate clients on treatments, and contribute to a supportive hospital culture. AVMA-accredited program graduate with a current state license and a calm, collaborative approach is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
• Calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
• One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and growth of teammates.
• Educate clients on treatments, review medical records, and answer questions confidently.
• Contribute to a positive culture through training and feedback to maintain high hospital standards.
