Woodforest Animal Hospital in Montgomery, TX is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our medical team. You will lead the exam-room workflow from intake to discharge, obtain histories and vitals, and educate clients on vaccines and wellness care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Strong client communication and education skills.
• Detail-oriented with accurate medical records.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of exam-room workflow from intake through discharge.
• Obtain thorough patient histories, vitals, and TPR.
• Educate clients about vaccines, parasite prevention, medications, and wellness care.
• Assist veterinarians with treatment plans and communicate recommendations clearly to clients.
• Perform blood draws and other sample collection.
• Perform diagnostics including laboratory tests, radiographs, cytology, urinalysis, and fecal testing.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation.
