Baytown Veterinary Management is seeking a dependable Kennel Technician for Woodforest Animal Hospital in Montgomery, TX. The role focuses on daily animal care, maintaining a clean facility, and supporting the medical team in a non-medical capacity.

Experience with animals is preferred but not required. A strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork are essential to thrive in our fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Feed and provide fresh water to all animals
• Walk dogs regularly throughout the day
• Monitor appetite, urination, defecation, and behavior
• Report any abnormalities to medical staff immediately
• Provide comfort and attention to animals
• Bathe pets as directed
• Clean kennels, cages, runs, and hospital areas
• Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness throughout the hospital
• Restock treatment and exam areas
• Maintain indoor and outdoor facility cleanliness
• Transport patients within the hospital
• Assist with safe animal restraint when needed
