West Houston Veterinary Medical Associates in Houston, TX is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. If you're passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment, we'd love to meet you.

You will provide nursing care during exams and procedures, assist veterinarians, perform lab work and radiology, restrain and medicate as directed, educate clients, and maintain detailed medical records.

Qualifications

• Licensed, Registered, or Certified Veterinary Technician preferred (LVT/RVT/CVT).
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Assist veterinarians with diagnostics, surgery, and anesthesia monitoring.
• Perform laboratory testing, radiology, and patient assessments.
• Safely handle and restrain pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Educate clients on treatment plans, preventive care, and post-visit instructions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
