Job summary

New Haven Pet Hospital in Indiana is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team. You will apply your RVT skills in a collaborative, family-like culture and support veterinarians during exams and procedures.

We offer a four-day workweek with rotating Saturdays, competitive pay starting at $24-$26 per hour, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and CE allowances.

Qualifications

• Experience is necessary for this position.
• Dependable, client-focused RVTs with exceptional work ethic.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support doctors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing methods to improve clinic and morale of technicians.
• Investigate and/or develop learning opportunities for the team.
• Work with leadership on policies, procedures and accountability.
• Client communication and education.
• Patient care and husbandry.
• Technical duties including blood draws, x-rays, anesthesia monitoring, IV catheter placement.
• Patient restraint and assisting veterinarians during exams and procedures.
• Preparing patients for exams and procedures.
• Filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
