Job summary

CSU Veterinary Health is seeking a Veterinary Technician II to join the Orthopedic Medicine and Mobility (OMM) service on a fully on-site basis in Fort Collins, CO. The role provides advanced nursing care, anesthesia and sedation support, and clinical data collection while collaborating with veterinarians, rehabilitation staff, and students.

You will mentor students, support busy surgical and diagnostic workflows, and contribute to teaching and research goals within a premier veterinary health

Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary experience.
• Registered as a Veterinary Technician by start date.
• Credentialed in Colorado or other eligible states as determined by CACVT.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia and sedation procedures and provide clinical support.
• Coordinate patient care across services and manage documentation.
• Mentor veterinary students and interns in technical skills and protocols.
• Support gait analysis, mobility assessments, and imaging preparation.
