Position: Veterinary Technician in our ICU Department

Work Schedule: Full-Time; Rotating Schedule - Thu/Fri/Sat then rotate to Tue/Thu/Fri, with 2 weekends per month on-call and during holidays.

Pay Range (APCA I/VTIII): $23.20 - $43.70/hour

*This pay depends on local veterinary licensing, experience, and progression through our competency assessment.

Shift Differentials: Earn more with our shift differentials!

• Weekday Night (Mon-Fri 6 pm to 8 am): $4.00
• Weekend Day (Sat-Sun 8 am to 6 pm): $4.00
• Weekend Night (Sat-Sun 6 pm to 8 am): $5.50

As an ICU/Critical Care Technician, you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVs and advanced catheters such as Jugular, Central Lines, or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases
• Collaborate with other skilled technicians and assistants to provide excellent, advanced medical care
• Mentor and train fellow team members
• Experience the gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reuniting them with their owners
