The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a dedicated full-time Veterinary Technician I for our Community Clinic at Nina Mason Pulliam South Mountain Campus. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM.
You will assist veterinarians with surgery, diagnostics, fluid therapy, meds, and client education, upholding our values of innovation, compassion, and excellence. You will monitor patients, support pre/post-operative care, and collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality patient care.
The Arizona Humane Society is looking for a dedicated full-time Veterinary Technician to join our non-profit veterinary clinic at our Nina Mason Pulliam South Mountain Campus with a schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM. As a veterinary technician, you will assist Veterinarians in all aspects of the clinic including surgery, laboratory diagnostics, fluid therapy, administration of medications, and client education all while championing AHS' core values of innovation, compassion, and excellence. You will work alongside the team to ensure high levels of patient care. You will be a relationship builder who collaborates with veterinarians, veterinarian technicians, and department leaders to solve problems and implement positive changes.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. There may be occasional wet floors, animal noises, odors, and dander. Most time will be spent in a typical air conditioned and heated office environment.
