National Veterinary Associates is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our hospital team in Tennessee. Working closely with veterinarians, you will support medical staff to ensure quality patient care, assist with exams, vaccinations, and treatments, and help maintain a safe and clean facility for pets and clients.

This role requires Tennessee licensure, at least one year of experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician in Tennessee with at least 1 year of experience.
• Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with dogs of varying sizes.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with clients and team to ensure excellent service.
• Assists veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
• Prepares patients for surgery and administers medications as prescribed.
• Cleans, sterilizes instruments and maintains a clean hospital facility.
• Provides required equipment and supports anesthesia under supervision.
• Performs routine dental cleanings and radiographs as directed.
