Lakeview Pet Hospital in NW Oklahoma City, part of AmeriVet Veterinary Partners, seeks an Experienced Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join a well-established, AAHA Accredited hospital. You will room patients, assist in surgery, monitor anesthesia, support recovery, place IV catheters, draw blood, and run bloodwork while providing compassionate client education.

Qualifications

• Veterinary experience and at least 2 years in a clinical setting.
• Effective communication with clients and team members.
• Understand client education and patient care processes.
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment and animal handling.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist in surgery.
• Monitor anesthesia and oversee surgical recovery.
• Place IV catheters and draw blood; run bloodwork.
• Operate x-ray and in-clinic laboratory equipment.
• Educate clients and support a positive patient experience.
