Qualifications
- AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program completed.
- Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology and labs.
- Calm, efficient approach in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork.
- 1 year veterinary industry experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care as part of the medical team, including treatments, anesthesia monitoring, and lab work.
- Mentor and lead medical team members to maintain efficient workflow and professional growth.
- Educate clients on treatments and review medical records with pet owners.
- Contribute to hospital culture through training and feedback and uphold high standards.
