Job summary

White Mountain Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our caring team in Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ. The role involves assisting veterinarians, restraining patients, and supporting both medical and surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed veterinary technician with 1+ years of experience, capable of blood draws, IV catheter placement, radiography, and anesthesia monitoring, and able to educate clients effectively.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician preferred.
• 1+ years veterinary experience required.
• Experience with blood draws and radiography a plus.
• Knowledge of Idexx equipment and anesthesia monitoring is desirable.
• Strong client communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctor and other staff with restraint and procedures.
• Perform blood draws (cephalic, saphenous, jugular) and place IV catheters.
• Capture and process radiographs with proper positioning.
• Assist in dentistry, anesthesia induction, intubation, monitoring, and aseptic technique.
• Maintain accurate patient histories and provide client education.
