Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician preferred
• 1+ years of veterinary experience
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience with animal handling and restraint
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Blood draws and venipuncture procedures (cephalic, saphenous, jugular)
• Digital radiology and proper positioning
• Dentistry tasks and anesthesia monitoring

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and assisting veterinarians
• Surgical assisting experience and monitoring
• Blood collection and running bloodwork
• Radiographs and proper positioning
• Animal handling and restraint
• Client education and communication
• Assist in reception/kennel duties as needed
