Job summary

Palo-Verde-Animal-Hospital in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our caring team. We welcome licensed technicians (LVT/RVT/CVT) or non-licensed technicians with hands-on experience who are passionate about patient care and client service.

You will assist veterinarians, educate clients, monitor patients, and help maintain a clean, organized clinic. If you are organized, adaptable, and eager to grow with us, we’d love to meet you.

Qualifications

• Veterinary technician experience or relevant hands-on veterinary experience.
• Genuine love for animals and a passion for quality patient care.
• Strong communication and client-service skills.
• Positive, professional, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a busy veterinary environment.
• Willing to learn, grow, and jump in wherever needed.
• Licensed veterinary technicians: LVT, RVT, or CVT credentials are a plus.
• Non-licensed veterinary technicians: We welcome experienced veterinary assistants/technicians who have strong hands-on skills and are looking to grow their careers.
• Spanish-speaking/bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply! Spanish is not required, but bilingual communication is a great bonus.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent patient care and assisting with treatments
• Following treatment plans and veterinarian recommendations
• Educating clients about their pets’ care, medications, and treatment plans
• Assisting veterinarians with appointments, procedures, and surgeries
• Monitoring patients and communicating changes to the veterinary team
• Performing technician duties based on your training and experience
• Keeping treatment areas organized, clean, and ready to go
• Working closely with the entire team to keep the day running smoothly
• Creating a positive experience for both pets and their people
