Job summary

Amerivet is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) for our Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ hospital. The role supports veterinarians with patient care, anesthesia, and routine procedures while maintaining accurate medical records and providing client education.

The CVT will monitor hospitalized patients, perform in-house lab work, and assist with surgical duties. This full-time on-site position offers relocation assistance and competitive hourly pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent experience in veterinary practice or medical environment.
• Ability to perform routine veterinary procedures, draw blood, administer vaccines, and assist with anesthesia.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and empathy toward clients and animals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient care quality by assisting veterinarians with examinations and procedures.
• Monitor hospitalized patients, prepare prescriptions, and perform in-house lab work.
• Assist with surgical procedures and anesthesia under veterinarian supervision.
• Document all services accurately for proper billing and records.
